Per #9602 (comment) brew cleanup fixed it for me I am using Apple M1 When I added this line:
export PATH=/opt/homebrew/bin:$PATH
to ~/.zshrc file 

ohmyzsh compinit:503: no such file or directory: /usr/local/share/zsh/site-functions/_brew

In fact I finally found the solution for the problem I do want to stick with the default theme but I want to just be able to see username and hostname in order to avoid running commands on the wrong host

There are steps which helped me:

zsh
chsh -s $(which zsh)
Logout from the system and login
Run terminal
It works for me now. 

ohmyzsh source ~/.zshrc  error

For me there were no permission issues on my completion scripts so the above didn't fix my issue

Well zsh is not there so it must not be installed sudo apt install zsh will do. 

ohmyzsh Zsh is not installed! Please install zsh first!

try running go get -u github.com/ponzu-cms/ponzu/.. via copy / paste that exact command. 

ponzu no go files in /home/user/go/src/github.com/ponzu-cms/ponzu
